For over 30 years, Å·ÃÀȺ½»â€™s Diversity Program has been a testament to our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Our efforts across the company have resulted in an annual average of 20% participation with small and disadvantaged business enterprises, including those owned by women, veterans, LGBTQ+, and disabled persons.
Our robust diversity framework rests on five fundamental principles: community, education, resources, opportunity, and commitment.
Å·ÃÀȺ½» strives to mirror each local community through outreach events. We educate our subcontractors through technical assistance workshops and mentorship programs, equipping them with valuable resources. We spend time reviewing bid packages to determine where there is an opportunity to collaborate with disenfranchised trade partners. We share a company-wide commitment to promoting diverse suppliers and stimulating lasting relationships.
Our dedication to diversity is not just an effort made on behalf of our clients; it is integral to Å·ÃÀȺ½»â€™s culture and is a reason why we are a known industry leader.
Culture of Care
In 2020, Å·ÃÀȺ½» signed AGC’s Culture of Care pledge, which affirms our commitment to a work environment that is free of harassment, hazing, and bullying. We commit to hire and pay based on skill and experience, regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, nationality, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation. We retain high-performing employees by identifying and removing barriers to advancement. And we empower every individual to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion. Business Resource Groups
BUSINESS RESOURCE GROUPS (BRGS)
Business Resource Groups (BRGs) create a community within Å·ÃÀȺ½» that enhances the experience of Å·ÃÀȺ½» personnel and advances Å·ÃÀȺ½»â€™s overall Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) program. It is our hope that creating space for the success of BRGs within Å·ÃÀȺ½» will lead to more inclusive and diverse teams within the organization and engage all employees.
In addition to connection and community, BRGs are also considered trusted advisors and should be tapped for sharing innovative ideas that enhance excellence in our company’s employee development and our operations.
